First run in 1946, the Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Challenge Cup commemorates Kim Muir, a cavalry officer killed during the Second World War, and Fulke Walwyn, one of Cheltenham’s most successful trainers.
It is a Class 2 Handicap Chase exclusively for amateur jockeys, open to horses aged five and older and rated up to 145.
Run on the New Course over 3 miles 2 furlongs it features 22 fences and is a searching test of stamina and jumping.
