RACE SUMMARY
First run in 1939, the JCB Triumph Hurdle is the Grade 1 championship hurdle for juvenile hurdlers at the Cheltenham Festival.
Originally it was staged at Hurst Park, the race moved to Cheltenham in 1965 and joined the Festival in 1968.
It is restricted exclusively to four-year-old horses, making it the only Festival Grade 1 hurdle confined to this age group.
Run on the Old Course over approximately 2 miles 1-furlong runners face eight hurdles.
